In August 2018, AGF Deutschland, a now defunct German based platform for the Association of Investors in Closed End Funds, suffered a data breach affecting around 12,000 records. The exposed information included nearly 4000 unique email addresses and MD5 hashed passwords. The data was posted on a prominent cybercrime forum.
