All uploads are stored in encrypted private storage and are only accessible by our security team. Files are never shared publicly.

Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions are reviewed by our security team before being added to the database.
  • You may submit anonymously — simply leave the attribution field blank.
  • Typical review time is 3–5 business days. We'll email you with the outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

We accept CSV, JSON, SQL dumps, plain text, and compressed archives (ZIP, RAR, GZ, 7Z, TAR). If you have data in another format, include a description and we'll work with you.

Yes. Simply leave the "Attribution Display Name" field blank. We still need your email to contact you about the submission, but it will never be displayed publicly.

Our security team typically reviews submissions within 3–5 business days. You'll receive an email notification once the review is complete, whether the data is accepted or if we need more information.

Once accepted, the breach data is indexed and added to our searchable database. We publish a blog post detailing the breach (with your attribution if requested), and you'll receive 6 months of free LeakedSource Pro access. Users can then check if they were affected by searching their email or other identifiers.

Direct file uploads are limited to 100MB. For larger files, please use the "Download URL" field to provide a link to the data hosted on Google Drive, Mega, Dropbox, or a similar service. There is no size limit for URL-based submissions.
