In August 2018, the online platform for the Bonivital Bounce Cup, a soccer tournament hosted by the Bonivital Soccer Club based in Canada, sustained a data breach impacting around 6,000 records. The exposed data included nearly 4000 unique email addresses and either bcrypt or MD5 hashed passwords. The information was posted on a well known hacking forum.
