In January 2026, a database linked to the notorious hacking forum BreachForums was published on a website named after the infamous cybercrime group ShinyHunters. The database contained nearly 324,000 unique user records containing email addresses, usernames, birthdays, IP addresses stored as hexadecimal values, and Argon2 password hashes and salts. Analysis of the database dates it back to August 2025.
