About This Breach
In March 2026, BreachForums, a prominent English-language cybercrime forum and the successor to the original RaidForums and BreachForums communities, was affected by a data breach that exposed its member database. The compromised MyBB forum data contained approximately 339 thousand records including email addresses, usernames, registration and last-activity IP addresses, and account passwords stored as Argon2 (and legacy MD5) hashes. No plaintext passwords were included, as the credentials were cryptographically hashed. The records were distributed via Telegram.
