In August 2018, the now defunct archives for Cinessonne, a French film and arts association, experienced a data breach involving nearly 12,000 records. The breached data includes over 11,000 unique email addresses and passwords stored in either plain text, MD5 hashes, or PHPass hashes. The information was later shared on a popular hacking forum.
