In December 2022, CoinTracker, a service specializing in Crypto & NFT taxes, announced a data breach affecting over 1.5 million customers. The breach was later linked to a compromise at SendGrid, which targeted multiple clients of the email provider. The exposed data included email addresses and partially redacted phone numbers. CoinTracker clarified that the phone numbers did not originate from their service.
