About This Breach
In December 2020, cPokemon (cpokemon.com), a Spanish-language Pokémon and gaming fan community, suffered a data breach of its vBulletin forum that exposed approximately 71,000 user accounts. The exposed data included email addresses, usernames, IP addresses, dates of birth, homepage URLs and linked social-media and instant-messaging handles (Facebook, MSN, Skype); no passwords were present in the exported user table. The records were shared on a hacker forum and subsequently redistributed via Telegram.
