In August 2018, Infoduka, a now defunct Malaysian portal hosting eulogies for deceased individuals, suffered a data breach involving over 28,000 records. The incident exposed around 25,000 unique email addresses and passwords stored as plain text. The compromised data was posted on a popular cybercrime forum.
