About This Breach
In 2021, itiko.de, a German IT and technology news and product-comparison portal (WordPress, operated by LayerMedia), had its database exposed, containing records for roughly 500 individuals. The compromised data consisted primarily of comment-author identities, including email addresses, usernames and display names, and IP addresses, along with three administrator accounts whose WordPress (phpass) password hashes were included. The records were later distributed via Telegram.
