In August 2018, a dataset was leaked on a prominent hacking forum. Kanaren Express, a now-defunct German-language bi-weekly newspaper for German-speaking residents and holiday-makers in the Canary Islands, publishing local news and a TV programme supplement (ceased in 2017), suffered a data breach that affected 1,473 users.
