In June 2025, Mandrill, a Mailchimp add on for automating transactional emails, suffered a data breach affecting more than 943,000 records. The exposed information consisted of nearly 464,000 unique email addresses, phone numbers, company names, company addresses, and related company URLs for various social media platforms. The compromised data was later posted on a popular hacking forum.
