About This Breach
Around August 2013, the hacking incident targeted OwnedCore, a forum for World of Warcraft exploits, resulting in the exposure of over 880,000 accounts. The compromised vBulletin forum contained IP addresses and passwords stored as salted hashes, and due to a vulnerable implementation, many of these hashes were quickly deciphered.
