About This Breach
In April 2016, Play-Gar.com, an online gaming community and forum, suffered a data breach exposing approximately 145 thousand user records from its forum database. The compromised data contained email addresses, usernames, salted SHA-1 password hashes and IP addresses. The records were distributed via Telegram, having originally been shared on a cybercrime forum.
