About This Breach
In August 2018, a dataset surfaced on a prominent hacking forum. ProLeague, a German platform for “Pro Clubs” mode in virtual football (EA SPORTS FC and similar titles), offering digital team leagues, match stats, community tools, and management features, suffered a data breach that affected 6,583 users. The compromised data included email addresses and SHA-256 password hashes.
