About This Breach
In 2026, a database linked to REMOTECOM, a U.S. offender-monitoring and electronic-surveillance service used by courts, probation and law-enforcement agencies to supervise individuals under community supervision, was distributed through a breach-trading Telegram channel. The dataset, flattened to roughly two thousand monitored individuals, exposed the monitored individuals' full names and personal email addresses, the supervising probation/parole officers' government email addresses, and sensitive case-monitoring flags describing supervision protocols and offense categories (for example sex-offender and child-protection protocols, domestic violence, narcotics, weapons and trafficking designations). Account identifiers and device/software details were also present. No passwords or online credentials were included. The underlying monitoring records span 2019 through early 2025. The data was posted for distribution on a breach-trading Telegram channel.
