About This Breach
In December 2022, a substantial 400GB dataset from the restaurant customer management platform SevenRooms appeared for sale on a well-known hacking forum. Included in the data were 1.2 million unique email addresses, along with associated names and purchase details. SevenRooms stated that the breach occurred through unauthorized access to "a file transfer interface provided by a third-party vendor."
