In November 2024, StDoctor, a now-defunct Brazilian software-as-a-service platform providing healthcare customer relationship management software, experienced a data breach impacting around 475,000 records. The exposed data included over 160,000 unique phone numbers, email addresses, full names, physical addresses, genders, birthdays, and MD5 hashed passwords. The compromised information was later shared on a Telegram channel.
