Creating a free account

Anyone can run a scan on the homepage without signing up, but a free account gives you meaningfully more.

What's included in the free plan

• 5 searches per day across email, username, phone number, IP address, and domain search types
• Monitoring for up to 2 identities — we'll email you when your data appears in a newly indexed breach
• A breakdown of each breach you appear in, including the types of data exposed
• Email breach alerts

Sensitive values (like full passwords) are masked on the free plan. Upgrading to Pro reveals the full data — see Plans and pricing.

How to sign up

1. Click Get Started in the top navigation or visit the signup page.
2. Register with your email and a password, or sign in with Google or Microsoft.
3. Verify your email address — we send a verification code so we know the inbox is really yours.

Why do I need to verify my email?

Breach data is sensitive. Verification ensures only the owner of an email address can view detailed breach information about it, and it's required before monitoring alerts can be sent.

Keeping your account secure

Once you're set up, we strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication under Settings → Security. It's the single best protection for an account that holds information about your breach exposure.
