About This Breach
In June 2026, American Tower, a US-based wireless communications infrastructure REIT, was affected by a data breach that exposed data exfiltrated from its Salesforce CRM and ServiceNow environment. The exposed data included email addresses, usernames, first and last names, phone numbers, job titles, and company and department details for its business contacts, sales leads, support-case contacts and internal users. The records were distributed via a cybercrime Telegram channel as part of the ShinyHunters Salesforce-extortion campaign.
