About This Breach
In March 2018, the Laboratory for Advanced Research into Telecommunication Systems of Universita degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria, an Italian university, suffered a data breach affecting around 14,000 records. The exposed data includes over 13,600 unique email addresses and either PHPass hashed or plaintext passwords. The dataset was later posted on a popular hacking forum.
