About This Breach
In early 2026, a consumer marketing database containing the personal records of approximately 243,000 Belgian residents was offered for sale and distributed through a Telegram channel. Compiled from multiple consumer and subscription-marketing sources rather than a single website, the list exposed full names, email addresses, landline and mobile telephone numbers, residential street addresses, postal codes and cities, dates of birth and genders, and — for a portion of the records — Belgian bank account details (IBAN, BIC and legacy account numbers). No passwords were present. The data was posted for distribution on a Telegram channel.
