About This Breach
In 2026, a member database from CarsDir (carsdir.com), an online automotive marketplace, surfaced and was distributed through a Telegram channel. The dump, taken from the site's tblMembers table, contained roughly 56,600 registered-user records; a large share of the accounts belonged to users in the Middle East and the account data dates from the mid-2000s. The exposed data included email addresses, plaintext passwords, full names, telephone numbers, IP addresses and partial postal addresses (street, city, state and postcode). The records were posted for distribution on a Telegram channel.
