In August 2018, Channels World of Hotels, a Netherlands-based online hotel directory, suffered a breach that exposed nearly 7,000 records. The leaked data included around 4000 unique email addresses and either MD5 hashed, PHPass hashed, or plaintext passwords. The breach was later shared on a popular hacking forum.
