About This Breach
In August 2018, the now defunct official platform for Chemineer, a United States based industrial engineering company, experienced a data breach involving nearly 8000 records. The compromised data contained over 5000 unique email addresses and either bcrypt, PHPass, or MD5 hashed and salted passwords. The records were posted on a popular hacking forum.
