In February 2017, hundreds of thousands of records from the Coachella music festival were found for sale online. The data, reportedly obtained from both the main Coachella website and their vBulletin-based message board, included nearly 600,000 usernames, IP addresses, email addresses, and salted password hashes (MD5 for the message board).
