In July 2018, Glencoe, a United States-based educational publisher and digital learning platform now known as McGraw Hill, suffered a data breach affecting around 3000 records. The exposed information included nearly 2000 unique email addresses and MD5 hashed and salted passwords. The compromised dataset was later posted on a popular hacking forum.
