About This Breach
In May 2021, the Lebanese University (ul.edu.lb), Lebanon's national public university, had a collection of SQL database dumps from its student exam-results and registration systems exposed and distributed through a Telegram channel. The dumps spanned academic records from 1989 through 2021 and included student course schedules, LMD registration files and exam-result tables. The exposed data contained university and personal email addresses, student full names, phone numbers, dates of birth, gender, nationality, Lebanese civil-registry numbers, passport numbers, home addresses and detailed examination grades for students and teaching staff. The records were shared via a Telegram channel.
