In July 2022, the website control center for Maxer, a Hungarian web hosting platform, suffered a data breach affecting approximately 2.4 million records. The exposed data includes around 175,000 unique email addresses, full names, birthdays, and passwords stored as either MD5 hashes or plain text. The breached data was later shared on a popular hacking forum.
