About This Breach
In August 2021, Telstra MyRewards (telstra.myrewards.com.au), the Australian customer loyalty and rewards platform operated for Telstra by MyRewards International / Pegasus Group, had a backup of its website and member databases exposed. The leaked data, drawn from the platform's Ria Rewards member tables and user exports, affected roughly 1,300 members and included email addresses, usernames, first and last names, phone numbers, dates of birth and MD5 password hashes, alongside some members' city, state and postcode. The data was subsequently distributed via a Telegram channel.
