About This Breach
In May 2018, Ticketfly's ticket distribution website faced a defacement attack by an assailant, leading to the site being taken offline. The attacker purportedly demanded a ransom in exchange for disclosing the vulnerability details to Ticketfly but received no response. Consequently, the breached data, encompassing over 26 million unique email addresses, names, physical addresses, and phone numbers, was posted online in a publicly accessible location. Although no passwords were included in the leaked data, Ticketfly later issued an incident update, acknowledging the potential access to hashed password credentials.
