In the middle of 2023, a vast 300GB dataset surfaced, encompassing more than 100 million records from the Chinese video chat service "Tigo," spanning from March of that year. Within this data trove were over 700,000 distinct entries, comprising names, usernames, email and IP addresses, genders, profile pictures, and private messages. Despite numerous efforts to alert Tigo, the company remained unresponsive to disclose the breach incident.
