About This Breach
In mid-2022, VapePartsMart (vapepartsmart.com), a United States-based online retailer of vaping hardware and replacement parts, suffered a data breach of its WordPress/WooCommerce store database that exposed approximately 137,000 customer records. The database was shared on the BreachForums hacker forum and distributed via Telegram as an Adminer MySQL export of the site. The compromised data included email addresses, usernames, first and last names, phone numbers, physical billing and shipping addresses (street, city, state, postcode and country), IP addresses and, for registered accounts, WordPress phpass password hashes. No payment-card data was exposed. The exact breach date is unknown; the data was floor-dated to the most recent account registration (June 2022) found in the dump.
