About This Breach
In April 2026, Abrigo, a provider of compliance, credit-risk and lending software for banks and credit unions, was affected by a data breach as part of the ShinyHunters extortion campaign targeting Salesforce environments. After the company declined to pay a ransom, data exported from its Salesforce instance was published on the ShinyHunters leak site, exposing approximately 711,000 unique email addresses along with first and last names, phone numbers, job titles, employers and physical addresses belonging to both Abrigo staff and external business contacts at client financial institutions. The data was drawn from Salesforce CRM objects including contacts, users, leads, opportunities and support cases. No passwords were included. The records were distributed via Telegram by the threat actor group ShinyHunters.
