In August 2018, Armazem Brasileiro, a now defunct Brazilian ecommerce platform, experienced a data breach involving around 4000 records. The exposed information consisted of over 3000 unique email addresses and MD5 hashed and salted passwords. The data was posted on a popular hacking forum.
