Deleting your account

How to permanently delete your LeakedSource account and what happens to your subscription and data.

You can delete your LeakedSource account at any time, entirely self-service.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in and go to Settings → Manage Account.
  2. Find the account deletion section at the bottom of the page.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

What happens when you delete

  • Your account, profile information, scan history, and monitored identities are removed from the platform.
  • Monitoring stops immediately — you will no longer receive breach alerts.
  • If you have an active paid subscription, it is cancelled as part of deletion so you won't be billed again. If you'd rather keep using the site on the Free plan, cancel the subscription instead of deleting the account.

What account deletion does not do

Deleting your LeakedSource account removes your relationship with us — it does not remove your data from the underlying breaches. Breach data exists because third parties were compromised, and copies circulate independently of LeakedSource. See Can I remove my data from LeakedSource? for what can and can't be done about the breach data itself.

Before you go

Deletion is permanent — there's no grace period or restore. If your reason for leaving is something we could fix, we'd genuinely like to hear it through the contact form first.
