About This Breach
In December 2025, data from Pass'Sport, the French government's sports-allowance program operated by the Ministry of Sports (www.pass.sports.gouv.fr) to help families cover youth sports-club registration fees, was posted on BreachForums. The incident was initially misattributed to CAF, France's family-allowance fund (Caisse d'Allocations Familiales). The database contained roughly 22.4 million benefit records affecting about 3.5 million households, including approximately 6.4 million unique email addresses. The compromised data exposed full names, email addresses, phone numbers, genders, dates of birth, physical postal addresses and CAF beneficiary identification numbers. The data was leaked by a threat actor using the alias Indra, and the French Ministry of Sports subsequently acknowledged the incident.
